I am Delano P. Wegener, Ph.D.
My research interests are/were classical Number Theory.

I have more than 30 years experience teaching university mathematics and am currently teaching at St. Louis Community College.  During my career I have always been a serious student of cognitive science as it relates to teaching and learning mathematics.

If you are really interested, you will find my vita here.
That vita may not be absolutely current, but it is close enough.  The vita will show that I have been professionally active and have done all the things we are supposed to do — write, speak, research, publish, consulting, etc.

The blogs that I write here may be less than perfect, may be sarcastic, may be tongue-in-cheek, but I will always be serious about the central point in each blog.  They will reflect what I have learned and will frequently challenge what is currently happening in our mathematics classrooms.

I expect to write short notes about some very general topics, very specific topics and everything in between.
